New substation M099 further strengthens Kilpilahti’s electricity infrastructure

Aurora Infrastructure has completed the construction of the new transformer substation M099 in the Kilpilahti industrial area. The project has been carried out as part of Aurora Kilpilahti’s systematic development programme, with the objective to ensure reliable electricity supply for the customer’s critical operations – on time and budget. 

The substation has been purpose-built for high delivery reliability and long-term safety. The structures are dimensioned to withstand exceptional situations, and all key electrical systems have been implemented with redundancy and take into account the backup power solutions of critical systems. 

The completion of the substation M099 supports Aurora Infrastructure’s goal of providing safe, high-quality and reliable electricity distribution tailored to customer needs, even with demanding technical requirements.
