Meeting Customers and Partners

There was a promise of spring in the air when friends of Aurora Infrastructure gathered in the Finnish Embassy in Stockholm to share insights and views on the energy industry development.

We have been busy lately. At the event, we announced the partnership with Norsk e-Fuel’s e-SAF production facilities in Finland. In addition, we have several active discussions ongoing with existing and new customers in the Nordics. Our unique role in designing, financing, building, owning and operating the needed electricity infrastructure is gaining momentum.

Aurora Afterwork: Competitiveness, resilience and climate

We at Aurora Infrastructure believe that the greener energy system of the future is built in collaboration. When organizing events, we provide our customers and partners opportunities to discuss and reflect industry development. This time Fortum, AFRY and Polar Energy took the stage and helped broaden our views and learn together.

The afterwork was opened by ambassador Olli Kantanen, who underlined the importance of cross-border cooperation in building a more resilient Nordic energy system.

Our first presenter, Fortum’s Simon Erik Ollus named his presentation “300 TWh – why?”. His call for action was clear – Fortum is ready for the increased electrification. He challenged industry stakeholders to make bolder moves towards greener future to ensure competitiveness and resilience – and positive impact to climate.

AFRY’s Nicolas Oksanen introduced the term “fossil detoxing”. He noted the importance of policy as a driver of transition, the need for finance as a catalyst for change and innovation as an engine of transformation. In his view there are no conflicts between climate, resilience, and competitiveness – the drivers are the same.

Polar Energy’s Per Langer demonstrated how CO2 emissions are skyrocketing and the temperature is rising. He pointed out that electrification is the solution, but we need to look at things differently and plan networks that enable local flexibility.

From purpose to action

Aurora Infrastructure’s Robin Lindahl built on these viewpoints. He concluded that we are driven by purpose and guided by our values. We are continuously seeking ways to accelerate green transition by investing in critical electricity infrastructure. Our values customer focus, trustworthiness and exceptional expertise are the key drivers of our growth.

We are prepared to lead in the needed change towards the greener future. If you are looking for long term strategic partnership, please get in touch with us. We can help design, finance, build, own and operate industrial infrastructure. Our way of working can free up CAPEX and enable project completion on time and at budget.
