The momentum continues – Highlights from the first half of 2025

Robin Lindahl, CEO, Aurora Infrastructure

The first half of 2025 has been a dynamic and rewarding period for Aurora Infrastructure. We’ve made tangible progress in accelerating the green transition by financing, owning, operating and developing resilient, future-ready energy infrastructure that supports industrial transformation across the Nordics.

Below you will find a few things we have been particularly proud of during the first half of 2025 – make sure to read until the end, we will give a snapshot of the future!

Powering flexibility in Oulu

Early in the year, we celebrated a major milestone with the mechanical completion of our site in Oulu, Finland. The facility delivers 100% power availability and includes state-of-the-art flexibility assets, reinforcing our ability to provide stable and secure energy to our demanding customers.

Partnering for green steel

We’ve also expanded our strategic partnerships. One of the most exciting developments was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding with Blastr Green Steel for the electrification of the coming Inkoo plant, based on a Build, Own, and Operate agreement. This collaboration underscores the role we can play in enabling cleaner steel production and industrial transformation at scale.

Engaging the Swedish market

To deepen our presence in Sweden, we’ve engaged in several customer talks and hosted a major industry event at the Finnish Embassy in Stockholm. With over 70 participants from data centres, manufacturing, renewable energy and energy storage, we demonstrated our ability to bring together change makers across the industry.

A unified brand for the future

One key internal milestone has been our rebranding project, which is now approaching its conclusion. Very soon, you’ll see the results: a unified brand identity centered around Aurora Infrastructure. The new identity will help to communicate clearly and consistently – both internally and externally. And as you will see, with as something everybody will clearly recognize as Aurora Infrastructure.

Looking ahead: What we aim to achieve next

We see two trends emerging clearly:

  1. First, our customers and the market expect us to diversify and expand our portfolio beyond electricity networks into enabling the green transition of critical infrastructure in general. To further this, we have several ongoing discussions both in Finland and Sweden.
  2. Second, customers and the market want leaders. Those who are ready to lead change, enable bold infrastructure investments and manage complex industrial transformation projects with multiple actors.

With our strong foundation, active project pipeline, and growing partnerships, we are well positioned to lead this next evolution.
We are on a mission – and the journey continues.

Stay tuned.
