During my first ten weeks at Aurora, I have spent a lot of time with you – our current and potential new clients. Thank you for the many good discussions – I have thoroughly enjoyed them all.
Here is where you see our value:
Core. Your business is not power distribution. Ours is. It is what we do, 24 x 365. We serve some of the most demanding industrial consumers of electrical power with near-100% availability. Our staff have world class competence in designing, procuring, building, operating and maintaining state-of-the art power distribution systems. At Aurora, our electrical specialists have the competence for our core business. And the mission to enable your core business.
Scale. As our client base is growing, we get more economies of scale. We can draw on our growing team to help you solve your power distribution challenges. We can utilize modern remote monitoring and operating tools to optimize operating costs. Our whole organization is there to support you.
Cash. Many of you have valuable power distribution networks in your balance sheet. Typically, the book value is far lower than the market value. We can turn those assets into cash, boosting not only your cash flow, but also your operating result.
CAPEX to OPEX. When we own and operate your power distribution system, you never have to spend CAPEX on it. We take care of it. Increasing power consumption? No problem, just let us know and we will ensure the network keeps pace with your demand. Replacing end-of-life components? This is routine for us. You can – and should – use CAPEX for your own core business.
Peace of mind. You have so many things on your mind already. Budgets, eSat, ESG, cyber security… Letting Aurora take care of power distribution is one worry less, and frees up your band width as well as human and financial resources for other important things.
Off balance sheet. Many of you would wish to off load your power distribution assets from your balance sheet. Depending on the case, it may be possible to do that partly, ie to reduce the weight in the balance sheet. In rare cases it can be done fully. Let’s talk!
Thank you all for the interesting discussions so far! I already look forward to meeting you again!
